Account information such as your name, username, email, and phone number provided at signup.
Business data you create while using Gocabbi, including your contacts, your message history, your paired devices and your API keys.

How we use your information
We use your information to operate the service, process subscription payments, provide support, prevent fraud, and communicate with you about your account.
Message content and your recipients
The text of the messages you send, and the numbers you send them to, are yours. They are stored so you can search your own history and investigate delivery, and they are removed automatically on the retention period you set.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis to message the people in your contact list, for obtaining consent where the law requires it, and for honouring opt-outs. We process that data on your behalf.
Your devices
A paired handset reports its model, Android version, SIM labels, battery level and the time it last checked in, so the service can tell you whether it is able to send. It does not read messages the phone receives, its contacts, or anything else on the device.
Payments
Payment details are handled by our integrated payment gateways. Gocabbi stores the transaction records needed to issue receipts and manage your subscription, but does not store full card numbers.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your data. Limited information may be shared with payment processors to complete transactions, and with authorities where required by law. Sending a message necessarily involves your own mobile operator, who handles it under their own terms.
Data security
API keys and device tokens are stored as one-way hashes rather than in readable form, so they cannot be recovered from a database copy. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we work continually to safeguard your information.
Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and accounting requirements. Message history is pruned on the retention period configured for your workspace.
Your rights
You may access, update, export, or request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us through the details on our site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Gocabbi after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
